One person.
A few useful perspectives.
I bring the experience of an engineer, business owner, veteran, and teacher to the technology questions on your desk.
A business owner’s perspective.
After serving in the Army, I ran a retail shop in southwest Missouri for four years. Working with thin margins, payroll, and day-to-day decisions taught me to look at technology through the needs of the business.
An engineer’s depth.
I’ve worked as a software engineer at Boeing, Mastercard, and Microsoft, building large-scale systems and cloud infrastructure. I use that experience to help smaller businesses understand their options and choose practical next steps.
A teacher’s patience.
I teach coding and AI classes at the Wentzville Recreation Center (WREC), and I run velocyl.rocks for kids learning to code. Helping someone understand a new idea is a big part of what I enjoy, whether it’s their first line of code or a better way to use AI at work. See upcoming WREC AI classes.
A veteran’s follow-through.
I served in the Army during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Those years shaped how I approach responsibility, communication, and seeing work through.
Direct, from the start.
Velocyl is my solo practice. You talk with me, plan with me, and work with me. We agree on a manageable scope and schedule before getting started.
